Who we are

MemoirMovies is operated by Archieboy Holdings, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. By using MemoirMovies, you agree to these terms.

These MemoirMovies-specific terms supplement the master Archieboy Holdings, LLC Terms and Conditions, which also apply to Archieboy network websites and services.

What MemoirMovies is

MemoirMovies turns your written memoir into a narrated film: we split your manuscript into scenes, generate hand-painted illustrations with AI, add narration and music, and assemble downloadable videos. Your words are used verbatim — we never rewrite your text.

Your manuscript and your rights

  • You must own the rights to (or have permission to use) any manuscript you upload.
  • You keep all rights to your manuscript and to the finished film. We claim no ownership of either.
  • We use your manuscript only to produce your film — never to train models and never for any other customer.

Voice cloning and likeness — important

  • If you upload a voice sample, you confirm it is your own voice or that you have the speaker's explicit permission. The cloned voice is created solely to narrate your films and is not shared or reused elsewhere.
  • If you upload photos of people, you confirm you have the right to use those images. Painted character references derived from photos exist only inside your project.
  • Do not upload the voice or likeness of a person without their consent, or of public figures for impersonation.

AI-generated content

Scene images, narration audio, music, and narrator cutaway videos are generated by machine-learning systems. Results vary; Archive purchases include credits to re-roll each included scene's image once, and tools to adjust images, re-record narration, or record lines yourself.

Pricing, credits, and refunds

  • Films are priced per 1,000 words, shown exactly before you pay. Payment is one-time — no subscription.
  • An Archive purchase includes credits sized to re-roll every included scene's image once. Signature Story includes its stated package revision allowance. Additional credits can be bought in packs; credits are account-level, shared across your films, and have no cash value.
  • Because generation costs are incurred as we produce your film, payments and consumed credits are not refundable once generation has begun. If something goes wrong on our side, contact hello@memoirmovies.com and we'll make it right.

Your files

Finished films and project media remain available in your account. We may move older delivered project files to archival storage; they remain downloadable. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.

Acceptable use

  • You must be 18 or older to purchase.
  • No unlawful content, and no content that exploits minors.
  • Do not attempt to extract underlying models or system prompts.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
