Preparing your manuscript

The best films start with a clear table of contents. Each chapter can become a section, and each section can be reviewed before it becomes video.

If your book is still a Word document or PDF, convert it to an EPUB with a real table of contents before production. That structure helps keep pacing, titles, and section videos organized.

Book-to-movie workflow

MemoirMovies creates a scene list from your words, paints each scene, adds narration and music, and renders section videos before assembling the finished film.

You can approve scenes one section at a time, re-roll images, add title cards, choose music spans, and decide which sections belong in the final movie.

Voice, privacy, and family use

You can use a built-in narrator or set up your own cloned narration voice with permission from the speaker. Your manuscript, photos, voice samples, generated assets, and finished films stay private.

Most families use chapter videos for reunions, memorials, anniversaries, author events, or private archives.

Start with three private frames

See whether your memoir works on screen

The free preview is intentionally practical: upload the manuscript and MemoirMovies automatically selects three strong moments and paints all three. That is enough to judge the documentary style, character consistency, and family appeal before checkout.

When you are ready, the paid film is priced by word count and includes a complete 4K final video with scene images, narration, music, and re-roll credits.

Common next steps
  • Upload an EPUB, Word document, PDF, or text file.
  • See three private frames painted automatically.
