What we collect
- Account info — email, name, password hash, and timestamps.
- Your project — your manuscript, scene text and directions, uploaded photos, voice samples, generated images, narration audio, music, and rendered videos.
- Usage analytics — pages viewed, features used, errors encountered.
- Payment data — handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
How your media is used
- Your manuscript, photos, and voice sample are used only to produce your film. They are never used to train AI models and never shown to other customers.
- Scene images are generated via Google's image APIs; narration via ElevenLabs (including your cloned voice, if you create one); narrator cutaway video via HeyGen. Each processes only what is needed for your scenes under their respective privacy terms.
- Your cloned voice is private to your account and can be deleted on request.
Where your files live
Project media is stored on our servers and in private, encrypted cloud storage (Amazon S3) in the United States. Files are served only to your logged-in account via short-lived links. Delivered projects may move to archival storage but remain available to you.
Retention and deletion
We keep your projects so you can re-download and continue editing. Email hello@memoirmovies.com to delete a project, your voice clone, or your entire account, and we'll remove the associated media from active and archival storage.
We send transactional email (receipts, render notifications) and occasional product email; every non-essential email has an unsubscribe link.
Cookies and analytics
We use a session cookie for login and standard analytics/advertising tags (e.g. Google) to understand traffic and measure ads. We do not sell your personal information.
