See your memoir take shape as a film, one step at a time
Upload your memoir, which is free. When you start the film, you read and approve the screenplay. The starting looks and voices are then made automatically. After that, each part has its own cast for you to check, is built, and is approved by you before the next part begins.

Screenplay. Each part’s cast. Each part made. Film.
Light-hearted or Serious
You choose when you start, and you can change it until the cast drawing begins.
Light-hearted
A crude, hand-drawn 1990s adult-cartoon look with wobbling marker lines and grey pencil backgrounds. It suits funny and warm memoirs.
Start a light-hearted film
Serious
A simplified graphic-memoir look in black ink and grey, with slow push-ins and quieter music. It suits grief, illness, hardship and other serious stories.

Read it first
The screenplay comes first. You read it on the site, ask for changes, and approve it before anything is drawn.
Meet your cast
After you approve the screenplay, starting looks and voices are made automatically. Before each part is made, you see its cast, change any drawing or voice, and approve it.
Choose a style
Light-hearted suits funny and warm memoirs. Serious suits grief, illness and hardship. You can change the style until the cast drawing begins.
Made with AI, directed by you. The drawings, voices and music are made with AI. You approve the screenplay, each part’s cast and every part.

Before you begin
Can I upload before I pay?
Yes. Uploading is free, and you see your film’s length and price straight away. You pay once, only when you start the film.
Can I stop partway through?
Yes. The film is made one part at a time, and you approve each part before the next is made. If you stop, you keep everything made so far.
Can I change a part after it is made?
Yes. The part editor lets you move pictures, ask for changes in plain words, change the words of any spoken line and re-record it, and move the music. Edits are included, within set allowances: one remake of each part, and new pictures up to about six per minute of film made so far.
